Abstract

This chapter is a collection of insights from front-line healthcare leaders and managers collected over a 2-year period in the Midwestern United States. Three main questions drove their responses. Each leader agreed to eliminate direct reference to any names and organizations. The comments are word-for-word transcriptions from each leader asked, with some minor edits for clarity. Over 100 leaders comprised this analysis of these diverse and insightful lessons learned. The combined experience level of this leader group would total over 1,000 years.
