Abstract

This chapter discusses in detail the upper extremities, lower extremities, and the spine. Some of the upper extremity disorders discussed include acromioclavicular joint injuries, glenoid labrum tears, shoulder impingement syndrome and rotator cuff tear, epicondylitis, olecranon bursitis, arthritis, ganglion cyst, hamate fractures, Dupuytren’s contracture and stenosing tenosynovitis. The lower extremity disorders include hamstring strain, hip flexor strain, piriformis syndrome, iliopsoas bursitis and tendonitis, bursae of the knee, meniscal injuries, patella-related injuries, recurrent patellar subluxation, chondromalacia patella, plica syndrome, lateral ankle disorders, medial ankle disorders, plantar fasciitis, hallux disorders, claw toe and Lisfranc joint injury.
