Abstract
To date, no centers of excellence (COEs) in sexual and gender minority (SGM) cancer have been founded but the particular challenges facing cancer care for this health disparity population fit well into the model of challenges COEs are usually created to address. This paper will scan the state of research and resources, pipeline development, and quality of care and overlay a common COE model to vision the benefits that might accrue in establishing SGM cancer COEs.
